Are you new to the outdoors or have you taken a few backpacking trips with friends, but don’t yet feel confident planning your own adventure? Our Women’s Outdoor Skills Event was designed just for you!

Join us for three days of learning, laughter, and exploration in the beautiful Camden Hills State Park. Connect with like-minded women, share meals, build new skills, and make lasting friendships (and hiking buddies!).

Adventure Overview

We’ll meet at the Camden Hills State Park Campground at 9:00 AM.After introductions and a few short lessons on backpacking basics and navigation, we’ll set out on a two-mile hike to the Camden Ski Shelter, our cozy base for the next two nights.

The Ski Shelter features bunk beds, a fireplace, woodstove, outhouse, and picnic tables—everything you need for a comfortable and fun backcountry experience.
