About the event
Women’s Winter Adventure: Discover the Magic of Winter
Winter is one of the most magical times to experience the outdoors. There is a peaceful silence that is unique to the winter landscape—the crisp air, the crunch of snow beneath your feet, and the unmistakable feeling of being immersed in a world transformed by winter.
Our Introduction to Winter Adventure is designed for women with little or no winter outdoor experience. Join us for three nights and four days of learning, laughter, and exploration in beautiful Camden Hills State Park.
Connect with like-minded women, share meals around the fire, build new outdoor skills, and make lasting friendships—and perhaps even find a few new hiking buddies!
Adventure Overview
We’ll meet at the Camden Hills State Park Campground at 9:00 AM. After introductions and a quick gear check, we’ll set out on a two-mile hike to the Camden Ski Shelter, our cozy home…
